I found this fascinating when I first read it, esp about portion sizes. Hope someome finds it useful
It's a good paper. Do mothers still get the cut down version from their Health Visitors inside one of these big guidance booklets they used to hand out regularly between birth and age five? I found these most useful when I had my kids as before that I was only used to cooking for adults.Val.0 -
We always have pudding. The kids usually have ice cream and I generally stick to yogurt, fruit, nuts and seedsThanks to everyone who posts comps, I love winning prizes big and small

BTW pudding to me isn't yogurt or fruit it's something hot - and naughty lol - but yes we have it as part of our meal not in addition to - or that is the plan mostly anyway!Trying very hard to be frugal and OS - just plodding on and doing my best!

Reading this thread i have come to the conclusion that to have pudding, or not to have pudding comes down to three things.
1. Personal situation.
2. Family traditions.
3. Personal tastes.
Life is to be lived, food to be eaten and enjoyed but i guess as with so many things it is all about moderation and common sense.Success means having to worry about every thing in the world......EXCEPT MONEY. Johnny Cash
