Car loan, finance & HPI
Hi All!
I previously suffered from bad credit which thankfully has now been sorted.
As I have not had any credit since, I've not had the chance to repair the damage.
I have a new job that requires a car and was hoping to gain credit from the likes of Welcome etc..
I am reluctant to apply to certain companies due to getting declined so has anyone got any experience with companies that specialise in these sorts of cases?
Welcome seems the most likely bet although I'd rather source my own vehicle than choose one of theirs.
Any help would be appreciated,
Dale

hi, i had the same problem a couple of years ago and it was sorted with car finance through British Credit Trust (http://www.bctgroup.co.uk). They are a bit expensive though but if it gets you the car you need and you probably don't have much of a choice anyway...
You can buy any car you want, but the worst part is explaining to the car dealer that you have arranged your own finance and don't want theirs, for which they get commision so don't like it very much. Some will try and say that they will try their own companies anyway. As most car dealers use three different finance companies this will quickly rack up the credit searches, stiffing you credit rating even more...0
