Tesco 4 person tent

http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.205-3858.aspx

129.99 reduced to 32

Almost everything you need to go camping, perhaps for the first time, has been included in this package. The Tesco 4-person camping set consists of a pair of 2-person sleeping rooms linked by a common living area covered by a 190T flysheet. Also in the set are 2 single rectangular sleeping bags and a double one, each with matching PVC airbed with soft flock top (air pump not included). The sleeping bags have polyester inner and outer layers and 200gsm polyester filling. Besides the durable polyethylene ground sheet, this camping set includes 3 clear-view windows and taped seams for added protection against wind and rain.

I bought almost the exact one from B&Q, sure it's the same, we took it to two festivals, it's been through a couple of heavy downpours and we were fine, no leaks. The rooms are quite wide and you dont feel claustrophobic. The double matress is quite small but it didn't go down much. Just needed topping up once. The singles were fine too. We didn't use the sleeping bags as they were very thin and we got cold using the proper 300 mummy ones, so not good for cold nights.

I forgot to say, ridicoulously easy to put up. Put the poles together (they are elasticated) follow the colour coded seams with the colour pole. Once all in put pole ends onto pegs provided and up it goes (two people make this easier but I did it on my own) Then peg those four inner pegs into a nice square shape and pull the outside corners square.Put the rest of the pegs in and tension the guy ropes and it will stay up even in very windy weather. bobs your uncle the outer is up :) great did it in the rain in about ten minutes. Then toggles on the inside to attatch inner tent

    Thanks.
I bought it for my teenagers for next summer in the garden, (that's if we get a summer!) so am glad it is easy to put up.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Good value. My son bought one very similar to this for 2 festivals from Go Outdoors for about £50, not including any extras so fab price (Shame I don't need one) :)
  • I ordered one of these on wednesday evening and arranged to collect it from my local store today, sadly at 12.10 pm today I received an email telling me 'sorry but your item is out of stock, we will issue you with a full refund'
Nothing like leaving it until the last minute, I have logged a complaint and lets see what happens :(
