I'd get myself a pair of trainers or two. I'm a bit of a shoe freak (weird for a guy I know) so that'd be where my spare money went.Whatever doesn't kill me, can only make me stronger.

Depends on what my needs were. For myself it would be in the following order: Good haircut, a winter coat if I didn't have one already, some good boots for the coming winter. It would be a minor miracle if £250 would stretch that far but you never know.....
A spa treatment thingy would be at the very bottom of my list because the benefits would be so short-lasting.0 -

It would be a preloved Mulberry for me to add to my collection. The trouble with the world is that the stupid are cocksure and the intelligent are full of doubt.Bertrand Russell0 -
I'd pick a whizz round M & S's food section without once looking at the prices!
If I had any money left I'd buy new thermals!!!!!" The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

I agree. Have to say though, dh and I went to one and he loved it...he is desperate to go back. A day there for two on a last minute 2 for 1 offer would give change from £250 (I think ours was £60-70 quid a coupld of years ago.). Enough for some of the other stuff on the list, especially as you could get a girlfriend to pay half of the 2 ffor one thing. Some include treatments some don't, at some you can get your hair cut.0 -

I'd save it towards a Mulberry bag, or an Ipad

But spend some of it on a really good sports massage!0
