Problem converting Tesco vouchers to deals

I have been saving clubcard points for years and now decided to spend them on a new bed at MFI. I applied online to convert £292.50 to deal tokens of £1170. I had collected this amount over a number of years even returning unused expired tokens to be recredited to the account.

Just phoned Clubcard as had not recd tokens and was told that 'as it is such a high value extra security checks have to be made before tokens issued'.

Has this happened to anyone else? Should I be worried? Will my account now be watched?

I converted £175 of vouchers to £700 of MFI deals just before Christmas and that was fine. I sent mine to clubcard with proof of postage and got the deal tokens very quickly. Maybe give them another call. It is good that they are being careful. I shouldn't imagine it is anything more than that.
