I am just wondering, are 95% or 100% mortgages still available? Are they llimited to first time buyers?

I need to sell my house but won't make any profit for a deposit, I have about 5k saved but that is all, and can't save any more as we are overpaying our mortgage as much as we can because it is a high rate.

    Very few and often with attached lending conditions, still at high rates of interest.

    Overpaying and building your equity is the way forward. As this will save you far more than you would earn on savings. Improving your LTV will enable you to remortgage onto a better deal, thereby saving even more. House purchase is a lifetimes work.

    The boom years of cheap easy credit have gone.
