two mortgage questions ???

Hi i have two questions about mortgages, am hoping someone would be able to give me some info??

1- Is there anyone currently doing 95% mortgages in the market, if so does anyone know who?.
2- Ive had a joint mortgage with my ex partner, now am looking to get my own one. Do i start out as a first time buyer as its my first mortgage on my own??

  • With regard to question 1 I can tell you Ipswich Building Society are offering it's members a 95% LTV mortgage.

    My IFA told me 8 months ago to set up a savings account so after 6 months I qualified as a member thus now qualifying for the 95% product.

    If you are not a member and can wait 6 months open an account like I did.
