Supermarket comparison site...?

Hiya folks,

Let me see if I can explain what I want. Where I live in Sheffield, I have access to 3 of the Big 4 supermarkets (Morrison's, Sainsbury's and Tesco, and there's an ASDA Superstore opening at the end of the month, though I'm not certain where it is and how accessible it'll be for a disabled non-driver).

Now, I know about MySupermarket.com but, as far as I know, that would only be of use if I wanted to know how much I'd save buying Tesco Value vs Finest, for example. No, what I'm after is a site where I can plug in my list, select the supermarkets I wish to compare, and have it tell me where would be cheapest for that week's shop, obviously taking offers such as BOGOFs, 3-4-2s, money off, etc., into account.

Does any such site exist...? Would be really useful for a disabled person on benefits who needs to watch her pennies!

Asda have an offer on where you can check your receipt online the day after shopping. If they are not 10% cheaper than you would get the same stuff at Tesco, Sainsburys etc. you get a voucher back. Not exactly what you are after, but may be helpful if you decide to try Asda.

If I read your query correctly then mysupermarket does what you want.

After you enter your shopping list the total price (with discounts) is shown, for each supermarket, at the top of the screen.

You can also print off your shopping list, comparing the individual prices of 2 different stores if you want.

that's exactly what mysupermarket.com does for you, tells you which shop is cheapest
  • Ahh, thatguy1 & Voucherman- but mysupermarket doesn't include Morrisons, it only shows info for Tesco, Asda, Sainsbury's & Ocado
Since I have only got a Tesco and Morrisons near me, I've been disappopinted with mysupermarket. The Mad Amout Bargins one seems to have Morrisons as well, so I will definitely give that a go.
    Thanks SailorSam

mysupermarket can't include morrisons because they don't have online shopping.
