Tesco 4gb Archos mp3 player £5.50

Tesco have the archos vision 1 4gb mp3 for £5.50. this is over £20 online.

They also have the 4gb vision 14 mp3/mp4/video/radio for £7. Amazon price is £21.

Good for that price, but I think we're on our 3rd one of these as they kept developing problems. Would've probably had to exchange the last one they sent us, too, but we quit using it and got a Sansa clip (which is great, we ended up getting two). Got our archos last year for just under 20 quid at MyMemory, fyi.

Depending on which version of the software is installed in the Archos, it may or may not let you resume playback where you left off. A bit of a song and dance you have to go through to resume when it actually works, but on the third replacement we got it worked slightly differently and there was no resume (think it's called breakpoint player or some such if you have one that lets you resume) and was no longer useful for podcasts, audiobooks -- anything where it's important you pick up where you left off. As I said, it's still a nice price depending on what you want to use it for -- just save the receipt & packaging in case it dies.
