Dixons

I am looking to buy a washing machine and fridge freezer from them.

They are significantly cheaper than anyone else.

Anybody had problems with them?

Well, their customer service is not the best but if you are sure the ones they have will meet your requirements, I would go ahead. The only other thing would be to search for any places who price-match with Dixons.

If you need the washer fitted and the old one taken away, check what each place charges.
  • Sadly it appears that no one price matches with Dixons, not even currys!!

Ive bought a couple of things from Dixons, no problems at all.

Ive usually shopped around, it amazes me that Dixons and Currys are sister companies and the prices between them vary enormosly.

Custome service was excellent as well as the delivery people, as far as I know the delivery is free too.

Cant fault them, have you looked around for any further discount codes

They are one of the cheapest for this as they take the old appliance away free of charge. hth
  • Cashback site will be used and thankfully I don't have an old one to remove and as an ex plumber installation shouldn't be a problem.

  • Comet is fine unless you have a problem with the product. They will say anything to avoid giving a replacement or refund.

I managed to get my vacuum replaced by Dixons but it was a bit of a palaver and I had to post on a 'we hate dixons' style forum to get the customer services number. They did replace it though. They are cheap and I would say worth the saving.
  • Thanks guys - for what I want Dixons are the cheapest and as there are no real horror stories I think I am set to make an order.
