11.1.07 - what small DFW/MSE thing have you done/will you do today?

Apart from everyone listing on ebays 10p day, what small thing will you do towards your debt free journey today?

I have a last minute mystery shop to do today that I got a call about last night, so another £10 in the pot.

Have a good day, and don't get too blown away by the windy weather!

    Morning all.
One very DFW thing I've done is to lose my cheque book. I'm pretty sure it hasn't been stolen, so perhaps when I start listing eBay goods it will turn up.

And staying in tonight to read my pile of books I received as Christmas presents. That's it!

  • I resisted a starbucks coffee and breaskfast this morning that would have cost about £5. Instead I got some yogurt and granola from M&S for £1.09 and made a cup of tea at work - that took some willpower seeing as I have a huge hangover!!

  • Well, they arent really small things, but i'm really proud of myself today.

I've contacted 2 of our smaller debts & asked about Full & Final settlements & the total they've said they will accept is £450 (from £820 total debt) :T

I have the money in my savings which we've been adding to when we have any spare, so that will be paid tomorrow, so 2 debts gone, 5 to go. Not bad for January! I'm determined to pay off as much as possible this year.

I hadnt realised it was 10p listing day, I dont think I have much left to sell, but then I dont think its a good time to list is it? Most people wont get paid until the end of the month, so wont be spending much after christmas
  • I'm having a NSD.

And, I've just recieved £366.31 in reclaimed bank charges.:D

    Hi
Staying at home, madly cleaning the house therefore not spending anything all day. Later on, I have some stuff to list on ebay and setting up the scan and shop system.
Nice day to you all from very windy Derbyshire

Well done! I've just received £72 worth! Thanks Martin - I wouldn't have even thought about doing this before!
