any ideas guys??

Hey guys, hope your all well.

I am currently in the process of doing a mammoth shop!! (Do it once a year and make sure all the cupboards, freezer etc are full) Makes things so much easier when meal planning especially since my OH works long days and I am studying as well as working full time.

So my question to all you lovely knowledgeable people is, do you know anywhere where I can buy spices online, (some of which in bulk) that are not too expensive?

Also any good deals I should be aware of??

TIA guys

xxx

Hi, I buy my spices from Spices of India www.spicesofindia.co.uk (sorry don't know how to do links) or ebay has several good spice merchants. I choose the ones that offer free P&P. Hope this helps.

Well what do you know, I can do links lol!

I don't know where you are based, but I would suggest an afternoon's shopping spree at a large Indian supermarket (easy to access if you live near a city), it can be a fascinating experience. Maybe it's just me, but I like to see the quality of the spices I am buying before investing in a big bag of anything.

You're lucky to have enough space for an annual bulk-shop!

  • Proper Indian shops as mentioned above. You'll get 3 times the quantity for the same price compared to supermarkets like Asda. But make sure you have enough containers because most of the spices come in bags. Also try Aldi, the do a lot of the common spices for half the price of the big supermarkets.
  • try comparing at https://www.mysupermarket.co.uk
they show you price complaisant on each and every item on all supermarkets.
