Progress has been slow and steady and a little frustrating at times, so to keep me going I remember how much I owed when I started - soon gets me back on track.

Had a bad month - had to put £250 on Smile credit card to keep me going, although I'm determined to pay it back off again next month and then some!!! On a better note I managed to get some monies back from bank charges so this will go straight on.

Have also applied for a Capital One card to see if I can move some of the Smile debt to a lower rate for a while - see if I can get a bit more paid off quicker.

    Must keep going...

It's a bit late but yeah I'm under £13,000 debt-wise!!! I'm finding that my figure of what I thought I could pay a month was completely unrealistic, but at least I'm still getting it reduced by a couple of hundred quid a month or so atm.

My debt has gone up!!!!! I've had to use my Smile card this month to pay for wedding things - however I'm hoping to get the money back from my parents next month so the debt will be back down.

I know I've come a long way this year already by getting £5000 off my total but even so I'm feeling quite depressed - just want to get rid of this weight on my shoulders.

Well I've work hard this month to get my debt back down after having to spend and I've managed it!!

Next month I'm going to concentrate on another grocery challenge as I've relaxed on this over the last couple of months and also start Xmas shopping early. Fortunately I've been putting money away for this with OH so we don't have to worry about where we're getting the spends from.

... a really bad month. I realised that the APR on my Smile is higher than I thought. And I have had to pay out for wedding things so that has gone on the Smile card.  I also completely underestimated my Christmas budget so I'll only be able to pay minimum amounts on my cards until the end of the year.

On the good side at least I know minimum payments are covered and I managed to get a Goldfish card with 3.9% until July 2010 so have transfered as much of my Smile card to this to get the interest paid out down.
