Really hard to choose. I guess the one I have enjoyed most was a break at a country house hotel in the Lake District. It was just after I had been living below benefit levels for two years (paying off my mortgage as single parent with insecure job and wanted to keep the house). It was a very expensive hotel and we were totally pampered. The food was out of this world. During the days we visited local National trust properties as in a seperate comp, I won a year's free family trust membership.

The biggest pleasure for me was how much dd enjoyed it as I felt she was really missing out on a lot because of my financial position. I had also found mse by then and the tips were also starting to make a huge difference to my life. The savings I made through mse paid the for the petrol and the little things we bought when we were away.

By 'best', it could be the one that had the most monetary value OR sentimental value.

    I haven't won a single item, so can't contribute.

You will do - be persistent.;)

  • You've all had some fantastic wins! I must have entered about 500 competitions as of late, so hopefully something will come of it.

Well my best win doesn't hold up to all your wins.
It was a Siemens mobile phone I won on a bottle of Fanta in 2002.
I had always doubted those "text the code to this number" type comps but I was acutally on a training course when I got the call to tell me I won. It was a tiny little thing and I felt ultra cool when I used it.

Wow, loads of great prizes there, makes my £23.99 enchanted castle look a bit paltry.

No it doesn't strepsy it's not how much you win that really matters but what the win means to you that counts.
  • My best win was £8000 on Richard and Judy 2 years ago .. soon disappeared though!!

Also won a hamper of smoked fish about a year ago.

Nothing since though .. time to step up the competition entering a bit a think
