Slow Cooker £9 instore Asda

Hi all, I was at Asda in Norwich last night, and they have slow cookers in, at £9 reduced from £15.

It was this one: http://direct.asda.com/ASDA-Slow-Cooker/001561754,default,pd.html which is out of stock online.

I've been after one for ages but was put off as the OH eats meat and I'm veggie, but found a great tip, if you buy oven roasting bags, you can cook 2 separate meals in the cooker. (leave a hole to let the steam out the bag)

Hope it helps someone. My first grabbit!

    It has a plug.

It's electric, 2 heat settings, low and high. I've been reading up, and apparently it costs less to run for 6-8 hours than cooking the same thing in the oven. Don't know how true though.

Stick your ingredients in at breakfast, put it on low and dinner will be ready after work!
