Injury lawyers 4 u - Advert shows how crap they are?

For starters, No idea where the thread goes and, lets face it, if your using this company, it's to up your income.
Anyway, I saw their latest advert today, the one with the actor falling down the stairs. I assume they used that footage (clearly an accident and not done on purpose) as an example of an accident to which you can sue someone for.
Surely though, they shouldn't use this? The lady must have known the dangers involved in looking at a camera while walking down stairs in highheels but she did it anyway, and it's all captured on camera. If she tried to sue Injury lawyers 4 u, surely the case would be thrown out?
If that makes sense, am I right or is there something I'm missing?

Thought for the day: each generation of mankind tends to hug the illusion of having reached the culmination of human achievement. Yet, as we scoff at our groping ancestors, so our descendants will surely scoff at us.

Is it the one that's meant to be a bit of a spoof, as if the actor tripped by accident in "real life?" If so, I think it's meant to be a joke, like accidents DO happen, but you might be talking about something else.
Only reason I'm posting really is relevant to my trade as I am sure you will see from my name, just to point out anyone with a genuine claim wouldn't be attempting to up their income, they would be getting compensated for their losses, to go back to the position they were if it didn't happenDebt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016

No, it's the type of thing you might see on an outtake show. She clearly fell by accident and they decided to use it. Otherwise the have AMAZINGLY good actors.LegalBlonde wrote: »Only reason I'm posting really is relevant to my trade as I am sure you will see from my name, just to point out anyone with a genuine claim wouldn't be attempting to up their income, they would be getting compensated for their losses, to go back to the position they were if it didn't happen
While I accept that a lot of people are careless and cause injury to others, then deservedly get sued (no doubt about that), I'm sure a lot of people may not be too truthful as to the extent of the injury to up their income.
The footage used doesn't seem to 'justify' sueing someone for money when she could easily have pointed out how dangerous it could be and even refused to do it.
I've found a video of it:

I imagine with their business model it is better to get a mass of new leads even if you only find 20% of them are actually worth pursuing and by making the advert as spurious as possible you will get the greatest number of respondents. All of it is to find those people that slipped on grapes in supermarkets or wet floors in hotels etc.
The cost of speaking to some people who tripped on their own carpet at home etc is small for the reward of those that did it at a friends house.0 -
Anyone saying "and the rest" can't have had a PI claim recently or if they did they got very lucky!!! Any PI claim I dealt with in the last 5 years mainly have people thinking their claim is worth far more than they actually get, mainly due to the compensation culture pushed by the media (only the biggest claims make the headlines) and of course celebrity claims, try explaining to someone that their claim is not worth as much as Leslie Ash's £5 million claim because she has more loss of earnings than them!!
Anyway, the OP asked about the advert and whether she could sue for that...I still think it was lighthearted and oh look accidents happen and that we have all spent much more time and effort considering it than the advertmakers did originally!!!Debt Free Wannabe by 1 January 2016
