re-using carriers bags and points in Tesco

Proabably someone has said this somewhere already, but if not:
Okay we all know that we can re-use carrier bags and surely know that you can get 1 point from tescos per bag re-used.
However if you are like me, with good intentions, but forget to take the bags when out shopping, then simply take some out of the recycling stand in tesco.
You are after all recycling the bags, plus you are getting yourself some points for doing so!

(ps I have not seen anyone else do this, am I alone?)
