Flybe Free Flights swizz!

I signed up for a Flybe credit card which enabled us to have two free return tickets, all we pay is taxes & fees, which is still £100.

I just went to book it as we wanted to go to Spain to see my son who I've not seen or spoken with for 5 years and they just told me 'sorry sir you can't use it for it for Spain, Portugal or Croatia'

WHAT A SWIZZ!!

Flybe you've not only p***** me off you've really upset a little 10 year old boy in Spain who'd already been told I was coming.

As the flights are £500 for the 3 days we would have been going we can't afford that, so that's that!

Feel really let down! Anyone else had the same?

Can't believe anyone would take up any such offer without reading the T's and C's.

I've had problems trying to use my free flights, but mainly because I leave everything until the last minute. There always seem to be catches with things like this. Kelvin, you are clearly very stressed out by this, but no need to be so aggressive. It is a valuable lesson learnt, and I bet you'll check things really carefully in future. Having said that, i am sorry you and your son are so disappointed. Might be worth looking at flights that have been just released for a date further on, as there are some good deals to be had.
