Yeah I noticed that they all had asterisks on too. I have also noticed that a few SEL's have been put on end? maybe things to be reduced next??

Was this a black star on the label if so it means that these items have been discontinued.

Thanks I thought it did. Noticed last night the baking section looking quite bare in my local. Some reduced things were gone and new brands in their place. A bit like the Birds custard sachets being replaced with the Aunt Bessies in my store.

In my store, it was only the pink & white marshmallows that was reduced. The packet of white marshmallows on their own, were full price.

Also got supercook chocolate cake covering and a bottle of almond flavouring.

Will keep checking for other bargains in that section.

    Thanks OP.

These baking bargains went quite quick in my store think I was lucky to get a few, the cake mixes have now been replaced with full price ones, and the bare bits of shelf now has new items. No marshmallows to be seen today and I only had one pack of each few days ago and there were still plenty left then.
  • Yay! Finally managed to get some marshmallows. There was just one packet on its own at the bottom of the shelf. No price tag but scanned at 54p :)
