Well done, Martin, for setting up this very useful addition to your excellent site.
Are you were aware of dialaround.co.uk, another offshoot of our Swiss friends Fineara SA? They have some unbeatable rates at the moment: eg. the three Baltic states Estonia, Lithuania and Latvia all at 1p per minute on landline; Iceland a penny a minute for both landline and wireless phones, Canada 1p a minute for mobiles, Cyprus 1p a minute for both landlines and mobiles, too. Please add to your database.

Did you know that, on the MSE CallChecker, it's possible to search for the cheapest way to call Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland?
And, when you do any of those searches, just one result is produced:
Telediscount 2p/min
(08444628181)
Now that can't be right ...........30 years, 217 days!0 -
Hiya. The call checker is an 'international calls checker' so it should be used for UK calls.Martin Lewis, Money Saving Expert.

Hi Martin,
Another Fineara phone site to add to your callchecker database, please: https://www.dialwise.co.uk - Argentina, Brazil, Zimbabwe landlines all currently a rate-topping 1p a minute, plus many other very good rates!0 -
Hi Martin
1899 calls to landlines in Canada, Germany & USA are 0p/min (+ 3p connection). However, these do not show up on the Call checker.
Could it be that the programming only recognises rates > 0p/min.? Some users could be missing this bargain rate!
Regards, Graham B0 -
Hi again Martin
Re. my above post, I've checked this morning and the Callchecker now shows 1899 at the top of the list @ 0p/min for Canada, Germany & USA.
Has someone being working through the night on this?
If so give them a big Thank you  Job's a good un.
Best wishes, Graham B0 -
