Is this an in-joke that those who have seen it know full well or is it a serious question? Sorry, not been up that way but would love to see John Lewis but not sure what the latest planning decision was regarding it.

I believe it's the new Frankie & Benny's, although it seems like a very bizarre place to put it.

Brilliant, thank you. I drive past it twice a day and curiosity had been killing me.

I had hoped it was an Asda filling station to bring some competition to the area but hey ho.

    Sorry for showing my age.

They've just opened in Bloomfields Shopping Centre in Bangor. Would love to go and try it out but not heard any recommendations as yet. Is it a family friendly place (2 kids under 2) or the kind of place you organise baby-sitting for?

F&Bs are very child friendly, plenty of high chairs plus there's a kids menu and when you are seated your kids are given an activity bag with colouring, crayons puzzles etc. One of the best places to take kids.

I've found the F&B in Victoria Square has really gone downhill since it opened, to the extent I wouldn't go back unless they paid me. The last time I was there, the food was bland, tasteless and overpriced. It may have improved, but I'm not going to spend my hard-earned cash to find out.

Looks like others agree ... http://lookaly.com/p/frankie-bennys-belfast
