One months free use of Napster - I can't believe my luck - and all I have to do is sign up for a tethered low-quality download music "service" and give them my credit card details - if I cancel within the month I won't even be charged. Oh joy.

(just noticed I also get 10 "free" tracks. Woohoo. I'm assuming they still use the model where everything magically vanishes the moment you leave them)

Anyone else been emailed this p**-poor excuse for a "free trial" masquerading as a competition prize?

(I haven't put this in scams as its isnt strictly speaking a scam, more sharp practice)

I "won" this too but only got 5 free tracks! Deleted it from my inbox, not worth the hassle!!

Ah just read this thread after starting my own. i think I will just delete it too then. I was hoping it would be good, like the free dvd trials.
