chrismoll wrote:thanks alot spiderman, much appreciated. Mike St Helens just text film to 241 and you will get a reply with a code in, if you could just send me that? Its a free text by the way.
Thank you for your generosity and i will try and repay the favour someway in the future on here!!
Chris
Sorry, but it's not entirely a free text. I had a free Orange Sim card with £1 on it. I used it only for Orange Wednesday and the credit went down each time i received a text back with the code. I had an Orange 'agent' tell me that it costs a small fee to receive the code.~Non Ex Transverso Sed Deorsum~0 -
it costs 35p to get the text for the code.hardly a fortune when you consider how expensive cinema tickets are. "You can't stop the waves, but you can learn to surf"

Yes, not much, but it's not free, and chrismoll shouldn't really ask people to text 241 for him and tell them that it's free, which it isn't! Some people might not mind paying 35p to give a complete stranger the chance to go to the cinema, but I assume even those people who don't mind would have liked to know that it wasn't actually free after all.
Not saying chrismoll did it on purpose - maybe he thought it was free, but Orange ads do always say that it isn't.0 -
It used to be free until a couple of months or so ago, so thats probably why there was some confusion. I 'think' its 35p if you text and 30p if you phone. We're all pawns in the game of life!!0

my apologises for this. had no idea that it wasnt free. I should be getting an orange sim card very shortly so next time any of the people PM'd me need a 241 code then i will get one for them to repay the favour and text costs. Thanks for pointing the cost out to me.0

can't find this anywhere on here........whats the cinema offer with orange?
buy one ticket, get the 2nd free?
and how do you get the code?
thanx in advance0 -
Orange started this a while ago, (its advertised in the cinemas all the time etc) basically if you are an Orange customer you can text the word 'FILM' to the number 241, (or you can phone) and Orange will text you back immediately with a code which you take to the cinema to receive a free cinema ticket when you buy another.
But, as the title states, it can only be used on Wednesdays. Guess what day of the week me and my husband go to the cinema?!!We're all pawns in the game of life!!0
