Help finding a wedding band...

Hi everyone, I could really do with the help of some expert MSE forumites in finding my OH's wedding band. He has fallen in love with Mokume Gane style rings however we can only really stretch to £300 and they start from £700ish. There are very limited stockists in the UK, and the idea of ordering online without trying the ring is unsettling least of all because this style can't be easily altered. Has anyone else bought a mokume gane ring or can you recommend a cheaper alternative in a similar style? Has anyone bought their rings online? How did you find the process? I'd be really grateful for any advice xx

There is a superb chap in Canterbury Kent who my hubby and i had make our wedding bands. His was made for him and i think it was 4-500 but was quite thick - could be made narrower. Don't know if that is any help. Can be made in many different metals. Ortwin Thyssen was the name of the jeweller.
hope this helps£400,000 starting Jan 2020 current end date Aug 2041 I would love the end date to be 2027 but will aim first for 2037.
1% target £4000 so far £20 paid0 -
