my ex reduced his maintenance by half a couple of months ago, which ment that myself and my partner would struggle to pay the mortgage, this has gone worse as my partner suffered a heart attack 2 weeks ago and can not work for the next few months till he recovers as he is a hgv driver. This means that our joint income is much less as all my partner will get is ssp! the mortgage is in my mane and my ex's( as he wanted to remain on it) but the house is in my sole name as it was signed over to me as a divorce settlement. how likely is the mortgage company to accept this short term siruation and accept that we can not afford to pay for the next couple of months, my self and my partner have never missed apayment for the last 3 years:mad:
