Only place we could find anyway big enough was in Dunelm Mills. Mind you, that was 10 yrs ago. My idea of 'good value' then, is ever so slightly different from now!!
No doubt I would be horrified at the price now, but they were the only place we could find 'big' ones.Father Ted: Now concentrate this time, Dougal. These

ebay are quite good although postage can be a lot as lined material is heavy
eg: Country House Delights, The Bay County Life,
also try searching for Vintage curtains0 -
mine are 130 drop ... I made them myself.. it took 2 weeks to do 2 pairs of curtains and linings.. just evenings.
I cut the length of fabric.. plus 9 inches for the top hemming and 8 for the bottoms .. folded the sides in to hide the edges.. about 2 inches each side on these.. and sewed straight lines..
Honestly if I can do them my cat probably could!LB moment 10/06 Debt Free date 6/6/14Hope to be debt free until the day I dieMortgage-free Wannabee (05/08/30)6/6/14 £72,454.65 (5.65% int.)08/12/2023 £33602.00 (4.81% int.)0 -

It depends what you mean by cheap but I recently bought two massive pairs of lined Sanderson William Morris Curtains from ebay for £50 for both, including delivery. They're very wide and full length floor to ceiling. If you're willing to go for the less fashionable colours etc then you can get some absolute bargains on names like Sanderson and Laura Ashley.0

Depending on what they have in we've had some bargains from Dunelm Mill. Got some 46 x 90 fully lined eyelet ones for £10 and some 90 x 90 for £20. Ours still had some nice ones in the other week for £20ish.
I end up having to but two 90 x 90's everytime I need new curtains for our bays so they do't get changed very often.0 -
Ebay every time. I've got three sets of utterly vast bay windows and even buying the fabric to make curtains would cost a fortune. So when we moved in I bought cheap plain long curtains from the Ikea sale for all of them then used these plain curtains as extra linings as good buys came up on Ebay. Two of my current sets are Liberty curtains which cost me £100 for the two sets of 4x 90" with a 108" drop.Val.0

Hi Tink,
As your thread has dropped down the Old Style board I've moved it over to the I wanna board to see if you can get more advice.

Another vote here for Dunelm Mill - we got some 90x90 ones in there recently for £22 a pair. They are decent quality suede look with linings.0
