Do you all have favourite SA's, I have finally found one, who has worked for tesco's for 8 years and her only day off is a saturday and she scans no questions asked (so far) But I don't go too mad, never have done
  • My favourite ones at one store are male - DD1 accused me of chatting one up the other day, and when I enquired about another tesco worker my DD1 muttered again, then on the way out another one enquired as to how the extension was going !!

I find it easier to stick with the ones I know and if I have used the vouchers the week before with them and no-one has taken them to one side and said that they shouldn't accept them etc and the male cashier takes them again I personally feel more confident in using them. I know some cashiers by first names now ........ a sure sign of too much tescoing.

;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)
  • I find I don't have so much success with females unless they are around the 18 year old mark - the more mature female cashier is usually unlikely to scan them for me. As for self-scanners I hate them with a passion much rather chat to a male sA. I did go for a young male and exceptionally good looking SA the once and although rather nice to look at he refused all my vouchers.

Still looking for these health and beauty vouchers - my store today didn't even have the quit packs whilst other stores have lots.

Has anyone got any H&B to swop for QK or can suggest anywhere in the manchester area where I may be able to pick any up?

    Thanks.
Horwich, Bolton has been good for these vouchers in the past, usually to be found on the end of the pharmacy counter.
  • My car has the "legally rob a bank - moneysavingexpert.com" sticker on the back window so look for these too in the car park.Welshy x

I have what i call my shop lifting bag, a long cloth bag i take in store with just a purse so i can lay it over any leaflets i find.

Anothe tip is to pick up a few of the free mags outside to lay across the top of the leaflets to hide them.

How does everyone else hide the leaflets.

Do you think we could get done for shop lifiting coupons:rotfl:

Dedicated H&B voucher stand, in the middle of the toiletries section. Helped myself to the last half a dozen leaflets last night, but pretty sure it'll be stocked up again.

I've found a nice SA this week, dont think she's there every day though.
I always find the older SA's scan the coupons at my store, the younger ones are like the gestapo.

I love the puzzled look on their faces when they say the total, you hand over the coupons, scan them and they look at the till as if its had a funny turn when the new total appears.

I would love to meet another MSE in my store .............. when I'm out shopping I look for fellow voucher users and RnR's peeps if I am at customer services. To date I haven't met anyone - I also look out for cars too.

My car has the "legally rob a bank - moneysavingexpert.com" sticker on the back window so look for these too in the car park.

OOps just realised how this is sounding, I do have friends LOL but it's would be nice just to come across someone who is just as much a moneysaver as me whilst tescoing.

I have a feeling I may have MSE'd the local Polish contingent today. Was in Mr.T's with a couple of Polish lads and a woman behind me(well maybe not Polish but one of the new assetion countries). After I had paid and was going across the car park, one of the men caught up with me and very politely asked me if I would mind explaining how i got my shopping so cheap with "those small papers". So i did a quick summary of voucher usage, quit it packs and flagged up this site. His mate (who was here by now) wrote down the MSE web address and took notes. They seemed very pleased, although didn't seem to completely believe you could do this legally as they kept asking me if i was sure it was legal!
