944 points !!!!!!! How did you manage that?
That Calculates to a £94 shop doesnt it?

It was £29 shop which came down to £23 after money off vouchers.

I only shop at Tesco for points, so it was strategic buying with lots of Toddler and Baby Club coupons.

I must admit I was quite pleased with myself being such a scatterbrain normally.
  • not meaning to take this thread to a whole new level
but durex is on offer BOGOF 8.03, so you could use
    2 x healthcare 2 pounds each (quit)
    3 x Healthcare 1 pound each (14/01 pharmacy flyer)
    4 x healthcare 1 pound each (new H n B)

11 pound worth of coupons giving 2.97 healthy profit

just hope if you do get them they scan unlike mine!!!!!

    Hi sarah skint -

Did any of the coupons scan? I remember my £5 off £20 from the DM (before Xmas) not scanning when it involved some of the above items (ahem  ) and then realizing they were probably classed as healthcare and not beauty. Went to CS and offered to return all my items if they couldn't take the coupon. SA handed me a £5er 'just this once'. Was very pleased with myself ;) .

Let us know about the coupons, thanks!

    :j 1st time I've managed to get everything correctly!!!!:j

It would have been better, had I found the H&B vouchers I was looking for!!!
  • I've just returned from Tesco's Flagship Store (their words not mine) in Cheshunt.
I had a £3 HEINZ voucher (got from a complaint to them)
I bought £3 worth of HEINZ products and was told I was lucky I'd spent £19.
Their new policy at that store is no vouchers accepted for spend under £15 even if you buy the product!!!!!!!!!![
This was because of coupon misuse.
I said if the voucher hadn't been accepted I wouldn't have bought the products.
I put my stuff in car and went through another checkout to check it out.
I was refused a 25p off voucher against one box (the correct box) of cereal.
I told them to keep the cereal I would buy it elsewhere.
    Has anyone else experienced this?

Try another cashier - there really is not exact ruling. I think stores differ in how much they push preventing voucher use and how much they scare the cashiers into sticking by the rules.
Go at night and pick young lads - works every time for me.
    Good luck

This is a bit off thread, but my visit to Tesco did involve my search for H&B vouchers

........anyway, last night I was abit worried about handing over money off vouchers, as on another thread there was gloom and doom about Tesco no longer accepting vouchers. I only gave the SA £4.50 of non purchased vouchers, one being £4 book token and £1.25 of purchased vouchers and she didn't bat an eyelid, I needn't have been so cautious, I could have used more!!!

Although I think Tesco Head Office may have made a stink recently (it's not good PR with regards to their suppliers), I think it all depends on the store managers outlook on things and how they run their staff.
