Couponing is the new R&R, isn't it leadlhead? Tesco can't keep us freebie-hunters down at the mo!
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
CLICK at the top or bottom of any page where it says:

Since discovering it late November, Ive done better than when serial RandRing......but surely it can't go on like this......................or can it?

It was mentioned previously on the misprice discussion thread that this and wombling could be the next policies in line for change.

Addendum...I'm surprised no-ones been out to see what tomorrow's bogofs are going to be
    Couponing....."every little hurts"

Half of the people can be part right all of the time, Some of the people can be all right part of the time.
But all the people can't be all right all the time. .........I think Abraham Lincoln said that.

    Dudes

Whilst I was an expert (trumpet blown) at R&R and freely shared my advice...

I'm a relative novice to coupon bashing.

To date I've scampered around Tesco and Asda with Somerfield vouchers with various degrees of success.

Can anyone post - preferably public some handy hints for the newbie coupon-ers, like me.

    Cheers

hiya Dude :D nice to see you :) right then some handy hints :)
    1. Try not to use somerfield coupons in tesco... they cant redeem them so this may affect couponing in the long run...
    2. Health and beauty coupons are great and they come out every 5-6 weeks or so, they include a £2.50 off a £10 spend and £1 off a £4 spend which means you can combine one 2.50 with 5 x £1 to get £20 (before bogof) of toiletries for nothing :D
    3. the quit packs that are still around work in conjunction to the handb vouchers.
    4. Use as many MOC (money off coupons) from manufacturers as you can(even if you dont buy the item), these i use off my shopping at tesco as my local one has a policy of 1 coupon per item :D so i pay pence for my shopping (but no duplicates...)
    5. some stores accept internet printed coupons print from... https://www.couponnet.co.uk and http://www.money-off-coupons.blogspot.com/
    6. when couponing always try to go to a young lad rather than a lady young/old as lads are more likely to take your stash of coupons.
7.email companies praising goods you like and find coupons comming your way :D
    8. join pampers.co.uk to get coupons sent to your door and also huggies.co.uk
    9. and finally if your coupons get rejected... just pop them back in your wallet for another day, but if they are h and b go and get the cash for them at CS.
10 one more.... join tesco.co.uk's cl;otheing email and get sent clothes coupons these can be used with other clothes coupons to get lots of clothes for free :D

hope all that helped! MM xxxxx

  • Keep an eye on the Daily Newspaper thread to see which newspapers are worth buying for their coupons; today is a good day to get the Times (£2.50 MOC), although I already stocked up earlier this week, when it had the same coupon.

Also, the Magazine thread is worth keeping an eye on to see which mags are worth buying.

Some peeps buy coupons on eBay, but me thinks a bit of research would have to be done before parting with any money to be sure you get coupons worth having and not ones out of date or photocopied etc.

And of course keep an eye on this board in general, coz before you know it there will be new Health & Beauty leaflets out and we will be sharing how best to use the coupons in them.

Oh, did I mention signing up online for all the Tesco clubs? Get on their mailing list and they will send you coupons, Food Club, Healthly Living, CLothing, etc. If you have multiple ClubCards (for OH, DS, DD, dog, cat) you will get multiple mailings = multiple coupons :D

Thanks for that.....Saw these on .com, but couldnt be sure this would be complete or would apply to stores as well............

Some offers on Tesco.com are marked something like "internet exclusive", rest always seem to apply in stores as well as on website.
  • I think i just found a glitch

Just bought 6 bottles of radox @ 1.58 bogof, the till should have deducted £4.74 but deducted £5.94 instead a £1.20 profit

I bought muscle soak and sleep easy

Bought this this morning and it takes off £1.98 instead of £1.58.
