    Great news, thanks for putting the suggestion forward, annie :j

    I'm having a go at onions, tomatoes, peppers, carrots + spuds. 1st year at trying veg + have also put my name down for an allotment (only 8 before me on the waiting list) So hopefully might get one soon!

  • Great news, now I can do some proper gardening and not just some accidental gardening. Last year I had some runner beans (and tomatoes, my only 'gardening' so far). When I prepared the ground I took some soil from my compost maker, but it hadn't rotted down enough. Result: lovely beans and enough potatoes for 3 meals!!!
