HELP Shampoo dried in carpet

Son's girl friend spilt shampoo and its dried in. Tried sponging, using carpet shampooer but the foam blocks all, and its probably Henna - leaves a pink stain.
Any ideas?

Could do with a few tips on this my self, have a greeny blue stain on my cream bedroom carpet after my darling son emptied half a bottle of head and shoudlers on it!!! I cleaned up what I could at the time but had the same problem with the foaming!0
