Payplan's terrible new telephone line

Hi,
I've been with Payplan for almost 2 1/2 years. I've noticed them get busier and busier and it takes soooooo long to get through to them now. I called them recently and was surprised to hear a foreign ring at the other end, I found out that they've relocated their "ongoing" cases deparment to Portugal. Problem is every time I call them the telephone line is appalling, its like speaking to someone in outerspace, I can hear my echo on the line and its so off-putting while you're trying to disuss your finances. The woman told me that no-one in the UK could help me now and I have to speak to them, or email them (which takes way too long for a response).
Does anyone else have this experience? or is it just my work phone, home phone and mobile that have the problem!
P.S. Sorry, quite excited, I've just worked out I will be completely debt free by December, cannot wait! £50,000 paid off in 3 and a half years with lots of huge sacrifices made and lots of help from Payplan.
Thanks
Helen

Thanks! £50k I know, I look back now and see what I have to show for it.... a few nice tops (nothing designed I hasten to add!), a nice handbag and that's about it, a hugely costly and expensive lesson learned from gross overspending. Most of it built up from robbing Peter to pay Paul etc.
Hopefully I'll be able to finally get on the property ladder in the next couple of years if my credit file doesn't look too bad!0 -
Payplan are getting a raw deal today arent they! Yep Ive spoken to someone in Portugal but they are so busy nowadays. This is a system account and does not represent a real person. To contact the Forum Team email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0
