Batteries

Hello, I'm a first timer on the forum, and to be honest didn't think I would need to sign up to ask my question. I quite expected someone else must have asked before:
I have to replace some of those flat, round batteries. 2 Large ones CR2032 and 3 small ones LR44. I was shocked to see how expensive they are in the shops. In one shop the price was over £3 each for the larger one. I've seen various packs of round batteries on Amazon, which would work out reasonably cheap, but I'd appreciate any ideas/advice on good places to buy them.
I am also concerned that buying several at once will mean that while they are stored, they might lose their power over time; would this happen? This would obviously make them less economical.
Many thanks!

Thank you GlynD. And thanks for the links, Nile - exactly what I expected to come upon when I tried an MSE forum search, but clearly my search term was a little too vague.0

I bought a pack of 30 Hyundai Alkaline button batteries of 5 sizes from the 99p shop.
The pack includes 6 LR44 batteries. They work fine. 3.3p each!0 -
The ones from Wilkinsons seem to be lasting quite well, never quite had the nerve to try the ones from Poundland but will when I need to replace the battery in my kitchen scales though. What is this life if, full of care, we have no time to stand and stare0

I bought some from ebay. I think they were around £1.50 for 2 delivered. If you always do what you have always done, you will always get what you always got!0

Thank you all so much for taking the trouble to respond. It's particularly useful to hear about the performance of the batteries - no point in buying ultra-cheap if they don't last very long, is there?
I think I will check out Wilkinsons and maybe Poundland and 99p store, in the first instance. I'm not sure I really want to buy big packs though, as they'd be stored for ages since the batteries I need aren't for heavy usage. If they do lose their strength in long storage, it's seems so wasteful (not so much in terms of money, but their lack of use, and environmental impact).
Thanks again!0 -
Hubby bought 1 x 2032 from landrover for the key & paid over £10!!!!! We now buy them from a pound store or B&M or home bargains, always about £1 for a pack with a few other sizes on there that I dont use, but I think they have the lr44 on, normally have 3 or 4 of each battery type per pack. Seem to last just as long in the key fob, the landrover one definately didnt last 10 times longer, thats for sure.0

Wow, £10 for a battery, I wonder if that is a record (record battery rip-off, that is!)
Thanks for the information, clearly there are quite a few sources of cheap batteries around, so I won't have a problem getting hold of them. I work in central London so I'm not near the cheaper stores on a daily basis, but next time I brave the shops mopre locally, batteries are on the top of my list.0 -
Panasonic 3V Lithium Coin CR2032 - 12 Pack - £2.99 from 7dayshop. Ordered from these a few times in the past and are a fairly good company to deal with. Actually just ordered a charger from them as well.
And 10 x Maxell CR2032 Batteries - £2.45 from Amazon/Media-R-Us. These were previously £2.09 just over a month ago.
100 AG13 357 LR44 A76 RW82 L1154 cell coin battery AG13 £3.95 on eBay Item number: 170647819124. Not sure if you'll want this many though.

10 of Maxell lr44 Alkaline - £2.85 Amazon/Talk Time
Sorry, didn't check the links in Nile's post so not sure if you've already spotted these.0
