I know that there's Ebay and Preloved etc for selling bigger items such as dresses, tiaras etc but I'm going to have a collection of small vases, silk flowers, candle holders, mirror plates that I can't seem me using (the odd one maybe but not 14 of the things!!) and would like to be able to get a little bit of something for.
I understand they have to have rules but considering this forum is meant to be all about money-saving it seems a shame I can't let people here know what I've got.
I found out a little while ago there is a FB page 'Weddings MSE style' and that could be used to sell things but just looking there now it seems to be all proper businesses. Has anybody else got any suggestions? Maybe we should all just storm that page with our bits for sale :rotfl:

Please let me know if you do as I am in the process of starting a new business, this will be aimed mainly at weddings and brides, mostly interested in the vintage aspect but I would be a willing customer for some items though. Ebay does seem to have quite a few people selling stuff on, I do see listings regulary.0

Gumtree? I bought some vases from there for my wedding.0

You could try a car boot? We've sold stuff successfully on Gumtree so that's always a thought.0

I don't think you'll have much trouble with ebay. Just list (for example) "White vase flower wedding centrepiece" and list with multiple items. If anyone wanted to bulk-buy the lot, they can do, or you might slowly trickle-sell them all to individual sellers.
I've seen quite a lot of this on ebay - it's where we got our centrepiece bowls from!Life on a shoestring!0 -
The wedding MSE style isn't just for main businesses. I set it up to make it possible for everyone to sell/talk/buy from anyone. I bought my items off of EBay. The one main thing i was looking for when I was buying them was that they offered P&P. I didn't mind that the postage would have been £10-20 if the vases were the one I want. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0
