Worked for my online shop last night on jellies, custard and rice pud put them thru at £0.99 for 3 and then at the end took off £7.07, happy days. Even better they were out of stock for one line and sub'd them for something else and did their online price match thing which meant got those ones for 60p for 3 and still somehow got the money off as well - very odd lol
  • I should be finishing my dissertation but for some reason I cant get out of the kitchen for jellys but thanks to this thread thats okay, everything is coming up roses !!.
Off to Mr T soon to look for bargains to add the thread, only thing I've ever contributed was the chocolate custard at 10p. It is very sad at how excited I was to finally announce a bargain I found myself!! A little contribution to all the hard work you MSE grabbit hunters do.
  • still waiting for the pyramids!!!

I noticed whilst loading my basket last night 3 trays that were out of date by over a month, so I passed them to one of the supervisors, then to my horror when I checked my bags already in the car I had already brough 3 which were out of date, it was a real dilema whether to complain or not.
I didn't took them home got them all out in the kitchen to check the sell by date and only 3 of the 60 were out of date put them on the side went to the toilet came back, and the wife and kids had one each of the out of date, so they have gone now, didn't tell them they were out of date they said they were lovely and they are all fine so far this morning, but suppose it is only a best before, so I have put the life insurance policy back in the draw for now.

Ha! Better check mine actually, just assumed they would all be in date in the same tray if one is.

yes i noticed 5 of the rice puds were best before aug 11,and had different foil lids, the ones with the better dates had a picture of a cow on the lids, never mind they should still be fine as its only best before
