Does anyone have an answer to this???

I am with the CCCS paying back my debts, but before i started my DMP, I was just getting myself in deeper by being charged through HSBC and Halifax for unpaid DD's etc with my current accounts.

Even though these accounts have been frozen and i am now with the CCCS, would i still be able to chase the charge fees back?

Thanks.

    Hello there

I think there would be a risk that the companies that are on your DMP may decide to cancel it if you pursue them for the charges.

Is that a risk you are prepared to take?

  • Hi,
I informed Payplan that I was in the process of already doing this with HSBC, who I have a personal loan and current account (now moved to different bank). Not only did they say this was ok, but advised me to keep any money I receive from it as a fall-back in case of emergency seeing as every penny of my income is now accounted for and used to pay my DMP.
