Endowment payout - good?

25 year endowment matures next month. £13.02 per month. Payout £8000.
Would have just paid the mortgage element it was intended to if it still existed.
Anyway - is that a reasonable return?

My payout was smaller but I was happy with it as I primarily took the policy out as I wanted a small amount of life cover and thought I may as well use it to create a future windfall too. I was 22 when I took it out and just starting to feel like I needed to be more responsible financially.:j Trytryagain FLYLADY - SAYE £700 each month Premium Bonds £713 Mortgage Was £100,000@20/6/08 now zilch 21/4/15:beer: WTL - 52 (I'll do it 4 MUM)0
