Sorry if I am stating the obvious butI'd stick it all in a pan with garlic, herbs etc and have a bean casserole!!
very easy and basic, I'm sure someone will come up with something a bit more exciting.0 -
2 tins of green lentils
1 tin kidney bean
2 tins of chopped tomatoes
*basic lentil curry: lentils, curry powder, onion boil down to mush! also nice with a bit of spinach
*kidney bean and tomatoes plus chilli powder for... chilli! with wedges, pasta or rice
*use lentils as a filler with any bits of veg/quorn/tvp for pasties, or top with mash
*lentil dip: lentils, onion, olive oil, cumin and garlic, cook and blitz
*1 tin lentil, 1 tin toms, worcester (sp?) sauce in a pan, add quorn sausage/similar for a surprisingly filling hotpot.
*boil up lentils and toms, or toms and kidney beans, add stock to thin into soups
*treat lentils as vege mince if that helps- lasagnes, shepherds pies etc
