Just got an absolute bargain at my local Tescos in Shoreham by Sea and I really needed it too It was marked up at £45 originally, then reduced to £35 but the yellow price tag on the shelf was marked at 11.25 and also went through checkout at £11.25. This was at my local store in Shoreham. Hope this helps someone

A lot of the supermarket appear to have not marked them down but they are scanning through at £11.25 on the checkouts.

i would drive over and get one but it's friday and i've already had a glass of wine!

could you please post up here if possible to tell if there were many on the shelf, and whereabouts in the store was it please? would be much appreciated because if there's more than just one or two, i'll be making a trip over in the morning as our neighbours hedge is a nightmare. thanks

At 3ish this afternoon there was approx 10 on the shelf as the reduction wasnt very obvious. They are in the seasonal section, virtually in the centre of the store about half way down their aisle, on one side of the aisle there was the multi buy deals. Hope you manage to get one

i saw around 10 of these in Slough Tesco's on Wednesday morning. get them whilst you can. no good to me now, as i live 200 miles away.

Thanks OP, I now have a very happy OH as he won't have to borrow his Dad's hedge trimmer anymore! There were 2 left in the H0rw*ch store propped up at the end of the cleaning accessories aisle, I prob wouldn't have even looked at them but I grabbed one and then noticed it had a SEL stuck to it with the reduced price.
I almost had it stolen from my trolley twice on the way round the store!:eek:

Thanks I managed to pick one of these up today. Was looking out for a good deal on a hedge cutter as my existing one gave out on me.

This is certainly a good deal. Didn't think there would be any left after the wekend so I was lucky for once.

I bought one of these a few weeks ago...

It lasted about 2 hours....

Didnt bother taking it back as it was so cheap I guessed it wouldnt last long, but thought it would last longer than a few hours..
Its now blunt!!!!! ha ha ha
