Just for everyones information that is interested,

I needed to renew my subscription to Bitdefender and was offered 25% off the price of £36.99. I thought, no i'll shop around and found the same version on Amazon for £18.97.
This is £7 cheaper than the 'standard' version and HALF PRICE. This is also the latest version!!

I emailed Bitdefender and they said they COULD NOT beat this price.

So for those who want a great antivirus plus product at half the price.

Assuming that is the 2pc/2 year version. That's why I didn't go for amazon, couldn't be sure.

You can get BD 10 plus 2year/2pc for £17.

Anybody who buys there computer stuff from scan can get bitdefender v 9 which will upgrade to 10 for £3.51 I guess this si one user i year so may not work out that cheap if you want to put it on 2 PC's.

Amen. I recommend this little gem to everyone I know. I personally use Kaspersky Internet Security 6.0 and have found it fast, effective, virtually popup free and one of the most hassle-free applications I've ever used.

Oh and both Kaspersky AV and IS packages can be bought OEM from Aria for £7.39inc vat and £11.16 respectively and are worth every penny.

Bitdefender comes out at number one in reviews due to it's price/number of machines covered/length of subscription... but hey
