Fitted sliding wardrobes

Hi Im buying a new build house and should be moving in a months time, and would like to have some fitted sliding wardrobes. My partner is moaning to do them himself as theyre expensive, are they really so expensive?
I have seen the DIY stuff in B & Q but as the space where Id like them is sloped (its the top floor of a 3 storey house) I think it will be a lot more difficult.
Has anyone used any of these companies or do you know which one is the cheapest? eg. sliderobes, hammonds etc.
P.S. I know each persons quote will be different due to size, finish etc but just a rough idea. Eg. How many doors you had, insides of the wardrobes etc.
Thanks a lot

We got from spaceslide.co.uk. then got a local handyman to fit. Works out half the price of hammonds etc who won't just do the wardrobe without fitting too. Apart from us getting confused about what we were ordering (but a year later more than happy with what we had so don't let that put you off, just got confused with the catalogue!) it was really simple and the same sort of thing as you see in all the make over shows.
I think about 250 for two door with double the inside fittings as wanted top shelf as highish ceilings then another £100-150 to fit.
Don't let the complication of fitting put you off, get the handyman to measure up for you when they come to quote for the fitting, and order what you like!0
