Clee thorpes Tesco (why do people put 'finger spaces' in names of towns/cities?) seems to be having a slight revamp and there is a clearance isle at the front of the store.
Anyway, I picked up an Ecotek Standby Saver energy saving 6-way adapter which was down to £5.50. It allows you to use your TV remote control to 'power-off' the electricity rather than leave it on stand-by but it also has switched sockets to be able to keep your Sky/Virgin/Freeview box switched on. I've since gone back to pick up 2 more for the bedrooms.
I can't find a link on Tesco website but here is a link to Amazon to see what the product is.

I don't know if this is nationwide or just Clee thorpes.

VTech baby trumpet reduced to £2. Six members of staff gathered talking in the toy isle yesterday so went to have a nosey, basically lots of things not being put out as too cheap, yet one assistant was taking orders to fetch things for fellow staff from the storeroom! It makes no sense as surely the items will not increase in price again as we know most of it is old packaging with the old barcodes.
