Got some good bargains for the pressie drawer at Tesco this morning.
It was Tesco in Perth and they were selling off the last of the Christmas gift sets.

They had three bars of soap in lovely vintage floral paper in spotty box. Was £7 but marked down to £1.50 then when i got to the till they came up at 75p. Bar code 5052320608294.

A bar of rose soap in a floral tin for 50p. Great for the shoeboxes. Bar code 5052320623082.

Spa shower collection. Think it was £7 but marked at £1.50 but went through till at £1.12. Three bottles of 100ml so would be ok for hand luggage on the plane. Green, orange and purple shower gel with brown ribbon round it. Bar code 5052320596720.

Oh Darling Shower must have set- the stuff that is a "looky likey" for Soap and Glory. Think it was either £12 or £15 to start and reduced to £2.50 then wnet through the tills at £2.25. It has bath crystals, shimmer lotion, body polish, cream bath and a towelling hair band. Bar code 5052320601592. I grabbed the last one in perth but someone somewhere else might be lucky.

    happy Tesco bargain hunting!

Pimms 70cl is scanning at £7 in my local express.
Not sure if it's nationwide as it's not advertised.

    Cheers :)
  • A lady in front of me in Tesco (Foster Sq, Bradford) had a Mega Blox Pink & Purple decent sized box at the till. It was marked up at half price £15, but went through at £10! Seemed like a good deal for anyone interested! HTH!

Lots more bargains in Tesco folks. They were bringing big boxes out yesterday full of different gift sets from when I was in the other day.
There was a handwash/handlotion duo in pomegranite and papaya or some other exotic fruit(!), a basket with three body butter- looks like the body shop ones, a big basket with about six items in it from that same pomegranite range, a wee set with shower gel, body lotion and a face flannel- great for holidays or shoeboxes at 75p.
There was also a spa collection in turquoise and white in a clear make up bag.
Most of the big set were £12 for £2.50 or £10 for £2 or £7 for 75p.

I am all stocked up for the shoeboxes, the school fair, wee get well gifts, wee pressies to take to friends when you go for coffee, teachers end of term pressies and raffle prizes for the next year........ at least!

I went to Mr T's today in Bicester (just a normal one, not Extra, Metro or Express) and they had packs of Children's Christmas Disney wrapping paper for 50p each right inside the entrance, don't know if this is country wide.

Each pack has 4 x 2m rolls, 8 bows and 10m of that curly string stuff (mind has gone blank as to what it's called). There were LOADS of them so I picked up 2, so that's me done for next Christmas.
    Don't Throw Food Away Challenge January 2012 - £0.17 / £10
    Grocery Challenge 16th Jan - 19th Feb 2012 - £254.72/£200 (Ooops very bad start)
    Grocery Challenge 20th Feb - 8th March 2012 - £0/£200

Got today Impulse Very Pink with free Barry M attached It says it's worth £6 but the set was £3 - but they are now £1. Worth it to take apart and use separately.
