    TOP MONEYSAVING TIP

Make your own Pot Noodles using a flower pot, sawdust and some old shoe laces. Pour in boiling water, stir then allow to stand for two minutes before taking one mouthful, and throwing away. Just like the real thing!

they had restocked the shelf with this at my local today so I just had to get a few more....as you do :)

also the Dormens pistachios were down to 19p a pack and the Dormens spicy peanuts were down to 12p a pack.

All 3 of my localish Tesco have had Basildon Bond airmail writing paper and envelopes, both the smaller C6 size and the larger size, for 35p per pack of 20. They are usually around the £3 mark, so I have bought tons!

this may just be local to my store but worth looking out for just in case:

Chilean red wine - Cono Sur Pinot Noir 70cl bottle, was £6.79 but priced on shelf (and scanned) at £2.19.

Has a white label with a drawing of a bicycle (??) on the front :)

I looked for this in my local and they didn't have it but they did have a Riesling in the same range (also with a bike on the label) in the Chilean white section.

The sel was £6-£7-ish but it scanned at £3.29.

Apologies for being vague but I didn't buy it so am doing this from (very poor) memory.

  • Not sure if this qualifies as a mega reduction but today in our local store Mary Berry Christmas Cake Mix in a Bag was half previous price at £5 which since it includes all ingredients ready weighed and individually packed (except eggs/butter but including marzipan/icing sugar) not bad.

I know its out of season but if any of your stores are still stocking camping stuff, it might be worth checking the price of the fold up camping chairs.

They have been sat for a while on a shelf at the back of my local store, price had been reduced to £5.96, I thought I would self scan them as I needed extra seats for an outdoor New Years Eve party, they scanned at 72p!!! Think original price was £8.00 each or 2 for £12?

So got 7 for £5.04p, we also go camping a lot so they will be perfect for next summer! HTH
