Tier one: Free prize draw – Road Trip experiences

Full Terms and Conditions

1. Open to UK residents aged 18 and over, except employees of the Promoter, their families, agents or anyone professionally connected with the Promotion. No purchase necessary.
2. The promotion will consist of three prize draws, as follows: a) 'The Sophisticate' package prize draw b) 'The Backpacker' package prize draw c) 'The Adventurer' package prize draw
3. To enter, entrants ('Trip Leaders') must; a) visit and 'Like' the Auto Trader page on Facebook b) choose the prize draw they would like to enter c) invite three friends to accompany them ('Passengers') and d) complete the online entry form. Entry into the competition will only be validated once all three friends have 'Liked' the Auto Trader Facebook page and accepted their invitation.
4. Entrants may only enter each prize draw as a Trip Leader once, but may accept to be a Passenger more than once.
5. Passengers who accept a Trip Leader's invitation and 'Like' the Auto Trader page on Facebook acknowledge that they will not be entered into the Promotion directly as a result of doing so and that the prize will be awarded to the Trip Leader. Trip Leaders will be responsible for making travel arrangements and coordinating their group.
6. Entries from agents, third parties, organised groups or entries automatically generated by computer, incomplete or illegible entries or those not in accordance with the entry instructions will not be accepted.
7. The Promoter does not accept responsibility whatsoever for entries lost, delayed, corrupted or not received.
8. The start date of the promotion is 12:00pm(BST) 01.09.2011The closing date of the promotion is 12:00pm(BST) 29.09.2011.
9. Valid entries received before the closing date will be entered into the relevant draws. All three prize draws will take place sequentially on 30.09.2011. In relation to each prize draw, the first valid entry drawn at random and under independent supervision from all correct entries will win the prize for that prize draw ('Winner').
10. Each Winner will be responsible for confirming their travel companions on the prize, for notifying the Promoter of the correct names and details of each of their travel companions, and for conveying all relevant information about the prize to their chosen travel companions. The Promoter will only communicate directly with the Winner and will not be responsible for communicating with the Winner's chosen travel companions.
11. Winners may not win more than one prize package. In the event that the same Winner is drawn for more than one prize draw, the prize will be awarded to a reserve drawn at the same time.
12. There is one prize per prize draw. The prizes are as follows:

    The prize package consists of a 7 day road trip for four people from Folkestone to Monte Carlo, Monaco. All activities listed are for four people.

    The prize package consists of a 10 day road trip for four from Folkestone to Prague, Budapest and Krakow. All activities listed are for four people.
    
    The trip includes:
    • VW campervan hire for the duration
    • Car insurance
    • £500 spending money
    • Return Eurotunnel crossing from Folkestone to Calais
    • 1 nights 3* accommodation in Cologne sharing twin/double rooms
    • Lunch in Nuremburg en-route to Prague
    • 2 nights 3* hotel accommodation in Prague sharing twin/double rooms including breakfast
    • £50 per person allowance for dinner and drinks followed by club entry in Prague. Location subject to change depending on dates of travel.

    The trip includes:

    • £500 spending money
    • 2 nights 4* riad accommodation in Marrakech sharing twin/double rooms including breakfast
    • Private guided tour of the Souks
    • 5 day guided self drive 4x4 tour including meals and accommodation as follows:
      • 1 nights hotel accommodation in Ouarzazate
      • 1 nights hotel accommodation in Toudra Gorge
      • 1 night in a Nomad tent at the Erg Chebbi Dunes
      • 1 night in a Nomad tent or Kasbah in Tamnougalte
    • Camel ride along the Erg Chebbi dunes

13. Trips involving flights to/from England can be from any London airport, depending on airline schedules.
14. Flexible accommodation to be arranged and agreed with Winner at time of booking to allow choice of stopover destinations on return journey.
15. Detailed itineraries for each prize package will be shared with the Winners once initial contact has been made.
16. Prize packages exclude food and drink other than those stated and sundry expenses. £500 spending money has been provided with each package to cover petrol expenses.
17. The Promoter reserves the right to substitute accommodation with hotels of a similar standard and hire cars with other models of a similar standard in the event of unavailability.
18. Holidays must be taken by September 2012 and travel is not permitted over Christmas period (20th December – 3rd January), Easter, bank holiday weekends or during the Olympics. The Sophisticate road trip is also not valid during the Monaco Grand Prix & Cannes Film Festival. All dates subject to availability at the time of booking.
19. Tickets and travel documents will be supplied to the Winner 7 to 10 days prior to departure.
20. It is the responsibility of passengers travelling to ensure that they have all of the necessary documents for travel, including passports, visas and ensure that the necessary health advice is taken prior to travel.
21. Third party terms and conditions apply to parts of the prize where applicable including flights, transfers, car hire and accommodation.
22. There are a number of car hire locations across the UK. It will be the responsibility of the Winner to collect the hire car. A suitable collection location will be arranged with the Winner when confirming trip details.
23. The Winner must ensure that one of the four travellers on the trip holds a current UK driving licence, is over 25 years of age with a full, clean licence and willing to act as the nominated Driver. Drivers must have a valid credit card in their own name to act as a guarantee on collection of the vehicle. Without this they will not be permitted to hire the car. If Drivers are under 25 years then additional young driver insurance will be payable locally by the Winner.
24. It is the responsibility of the Winner and the Driver to ensure that they drink responsibly. The Promoter will not be held liable for irresponsible behavior, personal injury or death caused by negligence.
25. Winners will be notified within 7 days of the draw by telephone and email. All reasonable attempts will be made to contact winners, but if this cannot be achieved within a further 28 days, the Promoter reserves the right to withdraw the prize entitlement and award the prize to a reserve chosen at the same time as the original.
26. Unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter, the prize is non-transferable will only be available to the Winner.
27. No cash or other prize alternatives are available, except that in the event of circumstances outside of its control the Promoter reserves the right to substitute similar alternatives of equal or greater value.
28. Winners may be required to take part in publicity related to the promotion.
29. The Promoter's decision in all matters to do with the Promotion is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
30. The names and counties of the Winners will be available upon request to those who write to: Auto Trader Greatest Road Trips Promotion, Inferno, 31 Great Queen Street, London, WC2B 5AE within 3 months of the closing date enclosing a stamped SAE.
31. By entering the Promotion, all entrants will be deemed to have consented to the transfer of their personal data to the Data Controller for the purposes of the administration of this Promotion only.
32. These terms and conditions shall be governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

Having just put all the Terms & Conditions up, from reading the paragraph below I think the trip leader wins the prize and chooses who they take :undecided
