Just a little tip, two items that I scanned on store self checker came up see assistant or whatever it says, took them to a proper till and they were vastly reduced......are some done so that you cannot check them???

I think chance of a bargain now is slim. My store resembled a jumble sale. People were eagerly scanning items on the price checker to see what's what (and dumping high price items there) and stood there salivating waiting for stock to come out of the warehouse doors. I gave up and came home, lol. I know if there's anything decent there'll be 20 people with a sense of entitlement in front of me buying 50 for ebay.

anyone been to sc un thorpe lately? it will be manic down there on a sat so could do with out a wasted trip
is it worth ringing up and asking if they have the netbook or laptop the op mentioned and if they could price check and save me one lol

Has anyone had any bargains at the llanelli store?
I have just been there to look but found nothing priced down. When I asked the sales assistant on the desk he really didnt have a clue what i was on about and said he knew of none electical reduced items.
When all of you are finding these baragins are they already reduced on the shelves?? or are you self scanning?

lol i just rung and the netbook is iver £200 and no lappys. hmmm if he was telling the truth

There are still some things lurking, toasters, irons and probably the odd sat nav, it depends on the store of course but got a few bits by going to a different store in another town......of course you will not get a reply if you say are there any bargains in***** as if there were and people knew, they would have bought them and if they haven't seen them they wouldn't know......you have to make the effort and get down there.

I don't get why you call the stores and ask for the netbooks/laptops to be price checked?! Can you imagine the grin on the SA's face when it comes up at 44GBP and they have staff discount too?! Of course they will say it's 200GBP! I understand you don't want to do a wasted trip but it might be worth it(or get some shreddies/soup coupons with you so you'll get something anyway )
