    Regarding Ebay.

    It's gonna happen.

Some people will buy lots to sell on.

Some people will buy lots for friends/family/school/charity.

Some people will buy one for themselves.

Some people will look and think "I don't need/want/like one of those" and leave it.

    I walked away from a £99 netbook on Monday, because I didn't need/want/like one.

But I do have some items where I have bought 2 or three and if I do not know someone who wants them will ebay/car boot them.

The principals of business are buy a product at a good price, then sell it for more to make a profit.

It is exactly what Tesco's do.

I have often wondered why small businesses do not (and maybe they do) use Tesco as a supplier at times like these.

I assume that all of you who disagree with Ebaying items never go and ask for DTD as surely that is you taking advantage of Tesco's good nature??

You may not agree with the morals of it, but stop moaning about it, it will happen. There is nothing you can do to stop this.

On the flip side, if you where not aware of the silly T's prices and you saw the Food Processor, in a sealed box on a car boot sale. You knew the RRP was £90, but they wanted £35. Is that not a great deal for you?? Even though they have made £20+ on the deal? You would be well pleased because you did not know that you could have bought it cheaper.

However, this is not the place for this discussion, so take it somewhere else and stop bringing the thread down.
  • Does anybody know if the extra store in 0sterley/1slew0rth in west London has a scanner? I was there the other day and didn't see one but there were lots of things on shelves with no prices (I did check the store scanner list thread but couldn't see any mention of it)

I have been badgering them about the price scanners for months ! They have one hidden by the rack of clothes at the entrance to the changing room upstairs, its hard to scan bulky items and not get tangled up in the hangers

Never been able to find any electrical bargains there but trapped indoors two weeks now :( can't go out for another week yet

None of the Tesco Direct links are working for me.

Could you post what it was please?

It's a Belkin F8Z453cw universal window mount, might be useful for the folks that managed to get sat navs

Hey that ebayer has the 7790 shaver.. I thought it was the 7770 shaver we were looking for???

Now i'm annoyed because I've seen a few on the 7790 on my travels but not scanned then! Anyone else have success with them?

Just got my 2nd & 3rd bargain off the list (1st being the breadmaker) and it was the Remington F7790 Comfort 360 that scanned for £13.00. Tesco.com states sel is £64.99, but cant remember what the sel was instore.

also got the Philips Special Edition Formula 1 HQ7390 that was £10.21 and £69.97 on website. HTH

Thanks, I might go back and have another look then. The sat nav shelf was down to the bare bones but they had lots of printers and stuff so who knows...
