Not enough credit history at current address so no mortgage. What can I do?

Hello

My first post, but in dire straights and I need your help! My Credit history is very good, but I have been living in a shared flat for three years. As it was shared I had my credit cards etc sent to my former secure home address (my dad's!) so therefore the banks are saying I have a bad credit rating, even though I pay utilities and council tax at this address.

What can I do to change this?

If I move my bills to the shared flat, how long before this shows on my credit rating?

I really need a mortgage, and at a reasonable rate! Please help!

Many thanks for your help
