So sofar, we have been awarded 30 tax credits pw, 60 child tax credits pw, 310 housing benefit pm. council tax benefit has effectively ceased however there is a technical overpayment which they will claim back in the last 3 months of the year at 150 pm.
we have found a new place and gone through the process. i passed the rent4sure checks whereas other half didnt, we had a guarantor (who also leant the deposit+1st month rent)on standby so she has stepped in and we are waiting for inventory to be done and then we get the keys, hopefully will be in on tuesday.
looks like may be able to make decent effort to start clearing the debts as of next month and still have some left over to live on.
also i recieved confirmation from Rossendales that 2 of the accounts are fully paid and closed. but not the third. they were all paid on the 19th august in full.
i have rung twice and requested the letter, not recieved yet. may come in post monday but im a little concerned as within the housing benefit/council tax benefit letters there was a note on the bottom of a ctax sheet saying theres £822 outstanding balance for previous years. im guessing that they havnt transferred payment over yet....
i will send a letter requesting confirmation letter as i want it. but dont think its viable to send it before we move as i dont think id get the reply before we moved, but i also dont think i should give rossendales my new address.0 -
Had a letter from Debt Managers LTD last weekand only thing i could think of doing was sending them a CCA request so i did.we acknowledge your request made under the consumer credit act. we have placed our file on hold and have passed your request to our client to deal with. we will be in touch when we have their reply
Am i right in believing bank overdrafts are exempt in some way from cca? do not know where that came from but its in my head.0
