I realise this is hardly MSE territory but I have seen vintage DM for £49.95 a bottle in a well known supermarket - this seems cheap???? Any ideas? I have a 40th b'day present dilemma and this would solve it!

Can't see anything under £113 irrespective of vintage - do be careful with all these fake spirits around.:beer:0

8/10 people can't tell the difference between this and a good cava
hth Get Appletv2 & XBMC in and thank me later :beer:0 -
For a birthday present what would you prefer as a gift this or a good cava? lol0

Hi
Its in my local tesco store marked at £49.99. Just rung up to check stock and they have it but she said its £99.99. I didnt say anything - are they liable to let me have it at the shown price???0 -
DTD!! Double the difference if you are charged more than advertised. Which store is this please??0
-
YES! and with DTD you would actually get it for free and money to buy another - if ticket says £49.99, but scans at £99.99 that's a difference of £50, customer services should give you dtd so £100 back - that's if I have understood you correctly :j I am not sure if there are any limits on DTD?
If anyone finds this honoured in a store near Chester/North Wales I would love to know - will make a fab wedding gift!0 -

I'd go try it! Do they have a scanner? You get double the difference if they overcharge you so make sure you buy with other shopping, then go to Customer Services to claim your DTD!0 -
Really??? Even though I've phoned up and know its wrong??0

If SEL still states £49.99 then absolutely, that's what their policy is!0 -
